Though the digital version sounds great, if you want to hear the album the way it was meant to be heard (and you can't get to a studio to listen to the 1/4" tape mixes), this is your best option. The album was done entirely on an old Trident board to a Studer 2" tape machine, mixed to tape and mastered straight to vinyl--when you put this record on, you will hear a true analog creation--from our lips and fingers to your ears, no binary code in the way. And it is a rich experience indeed. Give one to all the vinyl enthusiasts in your life!
